Host a Screening & Discussion

To host your own facilitated screening and discussion, or to find an event already planned in your area, contact Lance Kramer at lance [at] eemp.org.

In cities and villages, on campuses and in corporate meeting rooms, on every continent (eventually including, we hope, Antarctica), “Hope in a Changing Climate” is bringing people together to discuss not only the substantial environmental problems we face – but specifically, the role that ecosystem restoration can play in stabilizing our climate, eradicating poverty and promoting sustainable agricultural practices.

Hope in a Changing Climate: Discussion Guide on Ecosystem Restoration

These are not just idle, hypothetical conversations: from Kigali to London, from Addis Ababa to Beijing, participants in these dialogues are working together, developing plans to incubate and realize local and regional ecosystem restoration projects.

The Environmental Education Media Project provides host organizations with a discussion guide, access for viewing “Hope in a Changing Climate”, templates for invitations and press releases, and a range of other support materials.

There is much to learn – and even more to do. So please join with us in this global effort to watch the film, discuss the issues, tell the story, and shape our common future.

Seventy-one organizations on six continents, in 29 nations are already confirmed hosts for facilitated discussions and screenings of "Hope in a Changing Climate." More are expected every week.
